The Low of Indonesia's Education
Education in Indonesia that continues to improve not seem to
be able to touch all the elements of society that exist in Indonesia,
especially for underprivileged children. This then raises the child labor which
is the generation of dropouts. Actually, the factors causing the emergence of
child workers is quite diverse. Meanwhile, the current recurring factors due to
socio-economic issues and family welfare are not sufficient to require that
these children have to work.
Another factor that led to the school-age children in child
labor is child-sighted culture is a family asset and should be the backbone of
the family. Then the existence of gender discrimination, the high market demand
for child labor because the pay is low and the latter weak law enforcement on
this issue.Furthermore, he explained that if these children are forced
to work, then there are several things that must be known to be associated
child labor. It is mandatory at all should not be violated because the effect
on growth.
Duration of warking time is intended that these children do
not lose time to learn and play. Therefore, the existence of special education
services is expected to be a solution so that there children remain unmet
educational needs in order to become qualified human resources.
