Education Curriculum In Indonesia
Changes in the education
curriculum in Indonesia generated a lot of pros and cons. This change is also
considered by some to be too fast. Amendments are changes included: a catechism
increased to 4 hours, the science majors / IPS already be set up on the bench since
high schools, computer lessons will be scrapped, English lessons will be
scrapped since elementary school, the local language will continue to be taught
(as the conductor of the language in the delivery of the subject matter), elementary
school core subjects will be 7 subjects covered are : Religious Education, Indonesian,
Civics, Math, Arts, Physical Education and Sports Health, and Public Knowledge and
many more. Minister of National Education in Indonesia has set rules and regulations
that must be exercised by all the people of Indonesia are expected to support education
in Indonesia with the aim to be more advanced and developed.
